NJHS Connection

Our NJHS Bake Sale was very successful (and delicious), and $425.00 was raised and forwarded to the American Red Cross relief effort in earthquake-damaged Haiti. Additionally, the St. Linus Men's Club generously added to our donation with a check for $500.00. Thank you to everyone who participated by baking, spending, and donating!

The National Junior Honor Society held a fundraiser in February in which all of the St. Linus students were able to "Wear Red", and the money donated for the dress-down day was donated to the American Heart Association. Almost $300.00 was raised through their efforts.

NJHS members and candidates should be wrapping up their service hours. If anyone is in need of finding additional hours, feel free to contact me, and I can find someone who will gladly put you to work!

The National Junior Honor Society fundraiser that was held in March raised funds for the Loving Lauren benefit. We would like to thank all of you who participated in this activity. The benefit, which is being held on behalf of Lauren McGovern, is being held at Bourbon Street on Saturday, April 17th.

All service hour packets are due on Friday, April 16th, and Dr. Stritch and I are in the process of determining a date for the NJHS Induction Ceremony.
