November 16th ~ 20th

Thank you to all of the parents who visited me on parent-teacher conference night. It is always nice to sit down and speak with you regarding your child. I have so many wonderful students, it was very easy to tell you all the great things I see in school. If anyone ever has any questions throughout this year or if you would like to speak with me, do not hesitate to call or email me to set up a time to meet.
Here is a look at this week...

This week in Math we are working on numbers 6 through 10. We are playing different games in Math to help us learn the number words, so far we are doing great!

Wednesday
Ice Cream Day $1.00

Thursday
Computers and Art
We will be ending our chapter in Religion on Noah's Ark. Thank you to everyone who has brought in a Bible to share with the class. I read the story of Noah's Ark in each Bible that was brought in. We compared the stories and we learned that although there may be different words used, the story still has the same meaning.

Friday
Ladies Guild Hot Lunch
We are preparing for Thanksgiving in our room and we have been making lots of fun crafts. We are also discussing why we are so thankful for our family, you will be receiving a book each child made about their family next week, they are currently hanging in the hall. I have also taught the class 3 Thanksgiving Day songs, and I am pretty sure they all know them by heart. Ask your child to sing you them, they are really cute :)

Have a great week!
