Well we survived the heat today!
We took a break in the morning and cooled off outside by painting with water!

This afternoon we also cooled off by visiting the Church. The children did an excellent job of showing me how you sit and act at Church...I was very impressed :)

Monday
We are continuing learning about letter Cc. For homework tonight there is a letter Cc picture page, a note was attached to explain what to do. This is due back tomorrow.
Scholastic Book Orders went home today and are due back September 7th or you can order online by September 7th.
We are very lucky this year to have a Marist helper in the afternoon. Her name is Rachel and she will be with us for about an hour in the afteronon.
Our Artist of the Week is Sara Cooper! I hope you all enjoyed her artwork on the newsletter.
Tuesday
We have started Math this week and we are still working on our color words! In a week or two the children will be tested on all the color words, so you may want to practice at home too.

Computers ~ please return the interent permission form by today if you have not already done so. Thank you again for all the parents who are willing to help out during our computer time (10:21 ~ 11:01).
