March!!

Hope all is well with everyone this time of hope anticipating Spring and warm weather!

Math- We have finished the multiplication of 3 digits by 1 digit and the class did very well on their test this Monday. We are starting Chapter 11 on multiplying larger numbers. Please review their tables often. This is so important for memorizing and mastering their facts.

Religion- we are focusing on Lent and the passion of Our Lord. We will do many activities on this, and they are also making their own Stations of the Cross which will be due on Friday, March 5.

Social Studies- we are starting a unit on the Midwest. They seem very interested in this part of the U.S. since Illinois is one of the states included in this region.
Any questions, please feel free to contact me.

End of the Third Quarter!!

Hello, everyone! Easter and the end of the third quarter are coming next week. If your child has any missing assignments, please have them hand them into me by Tuesday, March 30. I will be figuring out grades next week and need all the possible papers in as soon as possible.

Math-
We are wrapping up our unit on Multiplying with Larger Numbers next week, and will be starting a chapter on Long Division. Practice on their facts during the holidays will be helpful!

Religion-
We are almost finished studying about Lent and Easter and its importance to our Church.

Social Studies-
We are studying about the people of the Midwest and how they made this land great. Rereading the chapter with them at night would be helpful to clarify what we have read and discussed in class. Some of the information is a bit difficult, and going over this information would be helpful.
