      Classes will begin to practice and learn the fundamentals to the game of basketball.

Grades 1 and 2 will begin to practice basic ball handling drills and exercises that get them used to the feel of a basketball and how a basketball reacts when they try to dribble or hit it.

Grades 3 and 4 will focus on the skills mentioned above along with basic rules and passing drills.

Grade 5 begins to play controlled games focusing on all aspects of the game; passing, shooting, and team work.

Grades 6 - 8 begin playing in leagues where students will be responsible for keeping a scorebook and officiating league games
