ANNOUNCEMENTS

NJHS has been very busy lately. The proceeds of our Taffy Apple Sale are going to be used to buy Hershey bars that will be sent to troops in Afghanistan in time for Christmas. The chocolate will be mailed with letters that the middle school students have been writing to the soldiers.

Also, NJHS is sponsoring a Halloween Dress-Down Day for students in 4th-8th grades. On Friday, October 30th, students may wear black and/or orange shirts with jeans. Students are encouraged to donate 50 cents (or more), and the money will be forwarded to the American Cancer Society.

Finally, the 1st quarter ends on October 30th, so encourage your children to check Engrade as they have until this Friday, October 23rd, to hand in any missing assignments.

This Friday, October 30th, the National Junior Honor Society is sponsoring a Black and Orange Dress-Down Day for all students in 4th-8th grades. Students are asked to bring in a donation of 50 cents, and the money will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Students may wear black or orange shirts with jeans, swishy pants, or nylon pants.
