ANNOUNCEMENTS

The 6th and 8th grade students will be at White Pines from Wednesday through Friday, and report cards will be distributed this Friday, November 6th.

While we are in Mass, children who are typically well-behaved in the classroom can be full of surprises! As a result, the students in my homeroom have been told that they will receive a detention if it is necessary for me to make a "seat change" during Mass. Anything more than one "Shhhh!" a week is unacceptable.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The My Brother Sam Is Dead amusement parks and board games that were designed and created by the 7th graders are amazing! They will be on display in the library during conferences, so please check them out if you are here.

My homeroom will have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair this Wednesday.

Thursday's dismissal time is 11:30, and school is not in attendance on Friday.

Book report directions will be distributed this week. All students need to have their novels approved by Friday, November 20th, and the reports are due on Monday, January 4th. Students, however, are encouraged to complete their reports prior to Christmas Break.

The directions for the second quarter book reports have been given to all of the students, and they are to have their books approved by this Friday, November 20th. The book reports for all three grade levels are due on Monday, January 4th.

Students were given order forms for the next set of novels that we will be reading in class. The 8th grade students will be reading Monster, the 7th grade students will be reading The Outsiders, and the 6th grade students will be reading On My Honor.
