The NJHS Bake Sale raised $425.00 which will be donated to the American Red Cross. Thank you to all of our bakers and to those who supported this effort. Officer Pacetti from the Oak Lawn Police Department has scheduled our EDGE meetings for both of the 7th grade homerooms, and they will begin on February 24th. (There is no cost involved, and you may even decide to clean out that linen closet!) Please check the NJHS blog for details. Our Christmas Show will be held in the church on Wednesday, December 16th at 7:00 PM, and each homeroom will sing one song. Although informal, we hope that it is fun! And yes, the students in my homeroom have been told to be dressed in "all black", and yes, that includes Under Armour long-sleeved shirts and black swooshies, but black shirts, velvet skirts, and dress pants are fine (in a perfect world). Interestingly, I have discovered that 7th graders do not even mind participating in a Christmas Show if they are allowed to wear Under Armour! The students in my homeroom have decided to have two $5.00 grab bags. One gift is for a student whose name was chosen randomly and should remain secret (yeah, right), and the other gift will be for a stealing game.
