Today in Math we created our own bead counters to assist us in solving addition and subtraction problems, as well as practice counting by 2s, 3s, 4s, and so on. Math homework tonight is to show moms and dads how our bead counters work and practice using them.
Readers came home for the first time tonight. Your child is to read the first story, The Nap aloud to you. You may notice that the story contains the words we are working to master this week. We are working with the short a sound as in cat.
