IMPORTANT! The children may be tie-dying in art class tomorrow (Tuesday.) In order to protect their uniforms, please send an old t-shirt to school that your child can wear during the project - the larger the better!

Homework for Monday:

Read Jordan Makes A New Friend aloud, focusing on reading with expression.

Math workbook pgs. 105 and 106. For pg. 105, measure real objects, not the pictures on the page. You will have time at school on Tuesday morning to measure the objects you don't have at home. For pg. 106, decision on whether to measure in inches or feet should be based on the real object, not the picture in the book.

On Thursday, we'll be having a pizza party in our classroom at lunchtime, compliments of Dr. and Mrs. Stricker. Please don't send a lunch on that day unless your child does not like pizza.

Remember, Wednesday is Ice Cream Day and Friday is a Ladies Guild Hot Lunch Day and also the day of our class field trip! Please be sure to send a sweatshirt or jacket if the weather is cool as the children will be outside most of the morning.

Thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Stricker for a wonderful pizza lunch today - what a treat! And thank you students for the great 1st grade memory book put together by Mrs. Stricker. I'll keep it forever!
