The Extended DayCare Connection

Dear Parents,

It has come to my attention that cell phones have been used inappropriately at extended day. Texting and picture taking seem to be at the root of the problem.
As of today Thursday February 18th, cell phones will no longer be permitted in the EDC room. To assure the non use of cell phones I will be collecting them from your child when they come into my care.
All the children are more than welcome to use the phone in the EDC room whenever they need to. Please do not hesitate to call in to the room to talk to your child the number is 425-1656 ext 156.

You may need to let it ring for awhile,as we all know, kids can be quite noisy especially after school.

I will be out of school on Friday December 11. Mrs. Rosellini has kindly offered to take my place at EDC on Friday morning at 6:30 and Mrs.McGovern is duing me an enormous favor as well, in taking over for the afternoon hours.
Please try to be on time when picking up your child/children in the afternoon.

What a quick summer break, at least it seems like that. So far the weather is not so very, very hot! Megan Nagy will be back again this year to help me. She is a senior at Richards and an alumna of St Linus and EDC. We still get help from other high school students that need community service hours in order to graduate. Sorry about the mix up on the weekly pay slips - I wrote Septmember instead of August, sorry!
I hope you all have a good school year.
