Spelling: ATE, GAVE, MAKE, BAKE, LATE, TAKE, AS, AFTER, HELPED, WANTED
List B ( bowl, gingerbread, laughed, washed, cookies, gentle, stumped)
We spent some time this morning writing ed words that sound like a "t" or "ed" at the end. Check folder.
Math: timed subtraction test Th. Email me if you need to know what level your child is on.

Week of Jan.9th.

***A big thanks to Mrs. McCarthy and Mrs. Regan for a wonderful Christmas party for the class. They LOVED it!
****Dr. Stritch wants you to know that the Cardinal is coming Sun. Jan.15th. for the 10:30 mass in honor of receiving the Blue Ribbon Award.. He is asking that all students if possible join in the celebration by wearing their St. Linus uniforms and sitting with their teachers. We sit center left, row one or row two.
*** If you didn't look at the blog last week please do so! There is a new math website along with pictures from photopeach.com!.
**CUPS, LUNCH TOWELS AND SNACKS....
*****Mon. is the last day for show and tell.
***Please continue to send box tops, can tabs, plastic water bottle tops and empty toilet paper rolls.
****Our first Grade One Mass will be Friday, Jan. 27th. at 8:30. Hope you can make it. FYI , some students do not like to get up in front of eveyone so that is their choice for the masses.

* The students and I are refreshed! Seeing happy smiles when the doors opened was a great feeling! We are slowly easing back into school.
**Tonight for homework you child has his/her Readers Threatre in their backpack. Please have your child read all parts.

************ PLAY PERFORMANCES ARE THIS FRIDAY 8:30 and 2:15. HOPE YOU CAN MAKE ONE OF THEM!
Do you have plastic grapes by any chance that we could borrow for the play? If so send tomorrow, Thursday.

**Thanks for remembering a cup, a lunch towel and a snack. Thanks to those who sent in new crayons and or markers. Some students really needed them and others still do. Ask your child if you didn't get a chance to get them yet.

***Please send in empty toilet paper rolls as soon as you have some.

Christmas Concert Tonight

Doors open at 6:30. We are sitting on the left side of church. I will be there. Room 16 is on the right side of church.
It was announced at the end of the day that tomorrow is a paid dress down day sponsored by student council. (red and or green attire) Cost $1.00.

The Storm is Room 14 Has Passed!

* It was quite a week with the anticipation of the first snow! The sun is shining, the class is healthy and it should be a nice week-end!
** Someone left a sweatshirt in the room on Wed. The name inside is Chibe, size M with an uppercase A too.
