The Routine is Back!

Grade 1 mass is Jan. 28th! Hope you will be able to make it. First grade will be taking turns for the different parts of the mass. When the time gets closer, parts will be taken home so your child can practice the reading part. I always ask who wants a reading part!

IF YOUR CHILD'S SWEATSHIRT OR SWEATER IS NOT LABELED PLEASE, PLEASE DO SO!!

This week your child can bring in show and tell!

Please remember to send a daily snack. Snacks are eaten around 10:00.

Santa sent in 2 new checker games and lots of Legos to keep the class busy during these COLD days when we won't be going outside for recess.

HOMEWORK
Reading:
Mon. reader p. 112-119, FAMILY TIMES and High Frequency words.
Tues. The Tub
Wed. reader p. 120-131
Th. hopefully SRA!! I will review SRA with the class in the beginning of the week. What it is, is an individual reading selection that needs to come back each Friday. There will also be a sheet to write the answers on. That also needs to be returned on Fri. Then the following wks. different stories will go home. Th. This will become Th. reading homework on a regular basis.

Spelling: test Friday and Spelling City.com if I remember my password!!

Math: still working on Fact Families ( 2 addition and 2 subtraction sentences)
SUBTRACTION test Wed.

Grammar: writing titiles and names correctly
