They did it!
If today was an indication of what the year will be like in first grade, we will have an awesome year! Thanks for all the supplies that you sent in. I will send a list of missing items home if you don't have a chance to get them by Thursday.

I thought it would be helpful to put the Gym days on their take home folders.
I told the class that our class song will be The Yellow Submarine for the year! They enjoyed listening, singing along and even doing a little dancing. In Art they will be making a submarine that will be brought back to the classroom so 2 or 3 at a time can have a special place to read books.
Reminders:
daily snack, cup and cloth lunch towel
PLEASE SEND A SHOE BOX OR 2 ASAP. The reading words will have a special home to then practice each week.
Did your child tell you about learning moments? We don't make mistakes in room 14, rather learn from our moments. I constantly show the class this concept!
