Hi Parents,
Our events for the remainder of this week:
Congratulations Maddie~she is our star-of-the-week!
*I have received a few baby pictures, and info. sheets today. I forgot to mention in the letter I sent home, to please have your child color the little feet that are bordering the info. sheet. I will have the students who brought their papers in today color their paper in class.
*Ff printing paper was assigned today for homework.
*Report cards are being distributed this Friday. This report card differs from the 1st semester one. We do a formal report card in January and in May. On this report card you will see the grading system of E, M, and N. Each letter indicates the following:
E: Exceeds classroom expectations~ This means your child does above and beyond what is expected. I give out very few of these now since we are only 1/2 way through the school year.
M: Meets classroom expectations~ This means your child is performing at grade level and is doing what is expected at this point in the year.
N:Needs Improvement~ This is self explanatory-if your child receives one or more of this grade, please discuss it with him and how it can be improved.
You may keep your child's report card, but I would appreciate it if you would sign and return the envelope. Thank you, and please congratulate your child on a job well done so far!
Have a good rest of the week,
Mrs. Revis
