Hi Parents,
Yea, we made it through our first day of Kindergarten with very little tears! Hopefully tomorrow will go as well. Speaking of tomorrow, please make sure your child brings the following to school:
* A juice box/water bottle for snack AND one for lunch. Since the room is quite warm, send in an extra water bottle.
* A lunch~please keep it small and simple!
* A dish towel to be used as a place mat for snack/lunch
* A beach/bath towel for rest time~no pillows or toys!
I usually send the dish towels home weekly to be washed, and the rest towels every other week.
Thank you for sending in all the supplies. We have enough Kleenex, baby wipes, and paper towels to open a small store. We do to through them.
Another thank you to everyone for exiting the room so quickly this morning. I really appreciate it. The quick exits really make it easier and happier for us all. Please remember to bring your child to the school doors tomorrow, and say your goodbyes there~no need to bring him/her to the class room. I will be at the doors to greet the children.
I hope you were able to read the newsletter I sent home today. A little homework will be assigned on Thursday. As I stated in my letter, we only use pencil when doing our printing homework. This paper is due back on Friday.
One more reminder: All Internet permission slips must be turned in by next Tuesday. We have Computer class on that day. Your child will not be allowed on the computer if this form is not turned in. ( The form was sent home at last weeks parent meeting.) If you misplaced it, let me know and I will send home a new one.
