Hi Parents,
Today was our 15th day of school and overall we are doing well, have learned our class routine, and are doing our weekly jobs. Unfortunately there are a few students who are having difficulty following directions, and listening. . Every Friday the students who have stayed on the green all week get to choose from either my candy jar or sticker treasure chest. I also plan on
rewarding those students who stay on the green all month with an extra special treat. Please continue to remind your child of proper classroom behavior.
The rest of the week:
Tuesday: Happy Birthday Jimmy! We all enjoyed cupcakes and a sucker from Jimmy.
In Reading we are completing letter book O and began our chapter on Patterns yesterday in Math. We made patterns out of cubes today, but will be making edible patterns later this week.
I have been assigning color word worksheets as part of our morning work. Today in your child's folder I put a laminated crayon of color words. Please have your child practicing reading these with you. Next week I will be testing each student on their color words. The students who are able to read the entire list without assistance will receive an award.
Wednesday: Computers
Small o printing paper will be assigned for homework.
Thursday: Library~please return your library book!
