Enjoy the long weekend.

Greetings,

The kids had a busy week studying for tests as well as making sure their homework was completed. I didn't give any homework over the weekend; but I do encourage the children to read their book they're doing for the report. If your child hasn't chosen a book yet; perhaps this would be a good weekend to pick one. Happy Reading, and have a great weekend.
Thank You,
Mrs. Schifferdecker

Hello,

This is just a quick note to let you that the kids are Not allowed to wear jeans to school tomorrow. An announcement was made this afternoon that in honor of the Sox and the Cubs in the playoffs, the students may wear either Sox or Cubs apparel. Examples would be a Sox or Cubs shirt, or pants that have the Sox or Cubs logo. If your child chooses not to wear something with Sox or Cubs on it, then your child needs to wear the school uniform. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. Thank You. Mrs. Schifferdecker

We will do a total of 7 book reports. There will be no book reports due in December. It will start up again in January. (The months we will be doing book reports are: October, November, January, February, March, April and May). Each Book Report will be worth 100 points.

Other FYI: Starting Wednesday, October lst, students will not be allowed to go back to their homerooms to get their forgotten supplies and/or homework. School has been in session for over a month, and the children should be used to the schedule. Also, the fourth grade teachers have noticed that students are asking to go to the bathroom quite often. The children are allowed to go to the bathroom several times during the day. If there truly is a medical condition that requires your child to use the bathroom more often, then please let us know.

If you have any questions about anything in this blog, don't hesitate to email me. Thank You. Enjoy the weekend. Mrs. Schifferdecker
