Hello there,

It's hard to believe that we're starting another school year; but here we are. I look foward to meeting and working with all of you. The following is a list of our specials: Monday - Gym, Tuesday - Library, Wednesday - Computers and Art, and on Thursday - Gym., and on Fridays, I will be doing Music with the class. In regards to quizzes and tests, my policy is simple - as soon as I know, the kids know. The information will be posted on my assignment tablet in class as well as on the blog. Our first week of school was a success. The students are learning to adjust to having two teachers and bringing their supplies in their orange bags to the other room. I teach Readng, English, Vocabulary, and Science. Mrs. Minarik teaches Religion, Math, and Social Studies.
The Homework for Vocabulary (orange book) is to do Index Cards for words 4-12 (pages 12 and 13), Unit 1, and that assignment is due on WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 2nd, 2009. We did the first three in class yesterday. Also, I told the students about a new website called Spelling City.(the website is www.SpellingCity.com). I have already put the 12 Vocabulary words on the site, and it give the students a chance to practice spelling their words, and do many other activities.
