Veteran's Day Assembly; Conferences

A) 8:30 a.m. Mass for Grades 2 - 5. Fourth Grade is doing the Mass..
B) Room 27 will be doing their shopping at the Book Fair
from 10:30 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.
C) Vocabulary (orange book) Unit 5 Test.

Wednesday is a regular day.

Thursday, 11/12/09
The Veteran's Assembly begins at 9:15 a.m. in the Church, and Dismissal will be at 11:30 a.m. I have a request - If you are planning to come in on Thursday to speak with me, could you please email me and give me an approximate time when you will be coming?

I enjoyed talking with everyone today, and thank you for coming. Conferences went well.

The following is a list of dates for tests and assignments: Vocabulary (orange book) Unit 6 -
Index Cards are due on Tuesday, 11/17/09. On Friday, 11/20/09, there will be an English Test on Unit 2. On Monday, 11/23/09, is the Unit 6 (Vocab.,orange book) Spelling Test.
On Tuesday, 11/24/09, Unit 6 Vocabulary Test. There will be a Reading Test during the week of Mon. 11/23/09 - 11/25/09; I'm not sure what date it will be. As soon as I know, I will post it on the blog. Lastly, there is a half day of school on Wednesday, 11/25/09. Dismissal will be at 11:30 a.m. That's all for now. Have a wonderful weekend. Homework for Tues. 11/17/09/FYI

Reading - Open Book Test on the story, "Cricket in Times Square" aka CTS,
Tues. 11/24/09 Skills Test - Visualization on Wed. 11/25/09 (not open book). I'm trying something new - one day for the test on the story, and the following day is the skills test. Note: Book Report #2 is due on Friday, 12/04/09. There will not be a book report assigned in December.

- Chapter 2 Test on Friday, 11/20/09. There will be homework on Wed.11/18/09. Please check your child's assignment tablet.

- Chapter A4, Lesson 1 Vocabulary Words, pages A98 and A102

Tuesday, 11/24/09 - All School Mass at 8:30 a.m.
Wednesday, 11/25/09 Dismissal at 11:30 a.m. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!
